About Pastor Ings

Pastor David Ings is a true testament of God’s Grace and redeeming power.  Reared in a Christian home as a third generation born again believer in Jesus Christ, working in the ministry, filled with the Holy Spirit and Wisdom of God, Pastor Ings was born and raised in the church, St. John UCOG as a young child where his grandfather Overseer Reverend Willie B Short was the Pastor.  As a young adult Pastor Ings worked endlessly doing street evangelism, teaching and preaching in the homes, and leading many hearts to the Lord. Subsequently, he accepted the call to the ministry and was licensed as an Associate Minister at Greater St John United Church of God where his mother, Reverend Dr. Williebell Ings was the Pastor.   Later Pastor Ings accepted a higher office as an Ordained Elder of Greater St. John Ministries C.O.G.I.C where Reverend Mark A. Ings Sr. is the Pastor.  Pastor Ings is the husband of one wife and a father.  Pastor Ings serves more than 15 years in many capacitates at Greater St. John Church of God in Christ as local Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Leader and Minister of Music.

Additionally for more than 8 years Pastor David Ings served as a Music Director at Abundant Life Healing Fellowship Church in Philadelphia where Reverend Dr. Bishop-Elect Steven Walker is Pastor.  There Pastor Ings served in the Ministry of Music and Pastoral, Evangelistic Ministries preaching and teaching in the Philadelphia Prison System where Pastor Ings is the instructor of the weekly “Mind Renewal” program where the inmates, both men and woman, and those in transition learn how to succeed in life on the other side.   Pastor Ings is a graduate of New Life Bible Missionary Training School where he sat under the teaching of Reverend Dr. Timothy E. Ruffin for 3 years and became a certified Evangelical Training Association Instructor. Pastor Ings is an undergraduate majoring in Information Systems and Information Technology.  He is a Vice President and Senior Architect and Systems Engineer, a technologist for 25 years in his secular employment.  Pastor David Ings is a musician, singer, song writer, composer, music producer and an audio/digital sound engineer for his own recording studio.  Pastor David Ings life scripture is found in the book of Ephesians 3:8 “Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ”.

Pastor David Ings is the CEO, Founder and Pastor of Momentum Christian Ministries Inc.  Within 2 decades of ministry, Pastor David Ings has acquired a strong passion for soul winning through the teaching and preaching of the gospel message.  Pastor David Ings’ progressive, innovative, revolutionary and challenging teaching on practical Christianity promotes godliness, brotherly kindness, virtue and diversity.  As a non-denominational organization Momentum inspires the heart and soul of all people, of all religions, and of all races.   Pastor David Ings believes that the uniqueness of individuals make the avenues of their wealth essential.  It is through this medium of ministry Pastor David Ings has launch in the Communities of Philadelphia a campaign to reach, teach and to preach life principles, such as Anger Management, Anger Control, Wellness and Family Enrichment Forums at several Recreation Centers in South Philadelphia where the City’s youth, men and women in transition are.   Pastor David Ings strongly believe that mentorship and positive role modeling is essential to increase self-esteem, inspire academic excellence and to establish career minded youth who will be a help to the community and not a hindrance.
